Pete Massiello, President

Pete Massiello has been working with the AS/400, iSeries, and IBM i since 1989, focusing on systems management and technical support. He is the President of iTech Solutions Group, an IBM Premier Business Partner delivering solutions and services to IBM i shops throughout the world. He is a member of IBM’s certification test-writing team, an IBM Certified Systems Expert with certifications in IBM i design, administration, LPAR, virtualization, implementation, and HMC management.

Pete has a B.S. in Computer Science from Hofstra University and an MBA from the University of New Haven. He was President of COMMON from 2010 to 2012, and again in 2014. He is a COMMON Hall of Fame speaker and a frequent speaker at user groups all over the world. In 2011, IBM established the Champions award for Power Systems, and Pete was one of the first recipients. In 2018, Pete was recognized as the first Lifetime IBM Power Systems Champion.

Ron Dolan, Director of Sales

Ron has worked in the IBM AS/400, iSeries and IBM i business for most of his professional career.  He entered the IBM business as a Sales Representative for a start-up (PCM) peripherals supplier, leading to Sales and Sales Management rolls at Decision Data.  He was then a Business Owner/ VP of Sales of an IBM Business Partner firm for over twenty years.  Ron has extensive experience in marketing, sales and technology bringing new ideas to sales growth.

Ron earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Merrimack College and his MBA /MCIS from Bentley University. During his leisure time he enjoys skiing, boating and fishing.

Donna DelMuro, Account Executive

Donna DelMuro brings 30 years of experience in IT sales, sales management, and business development on the IBM midrange platform.  Her skillset is focused on helping growing organizations, from Start-ups to Enterprise,  implement a sales team, build business partnerships and develop company policies and procedures in collaboration with company managers and leaders through organization and visualization.

Her extensive sales expertise has primarily focused on tooling and services for IT, most recently IBMi Modernization and DevOps implementations. Currently, she is a team member at iTech helping to provide IBM Power, storage solutions, and managed services.

Glenn Ericson, Account Executive

Glenn Ericson has worked on the AS/400 and all its developments, including the current Power Systems. As an IBMer, he supported the first AS/400 installation in 1988. Glenn joined iTech Solutions Group at its inception in 2002. He was amongst the first to design and install a partitioned system consolidating 5 older AS/400s at OS release 4.5. He then designed larger LPARed systems for a major Casino/Resort. HA and DR became integral to solutions and business continuity at iTech Solutions.

Glenn attained his first IBM AS/400 certifications in 2000, as well as all ensuing certifications. Glenn was a member of the IBM i POWER6 Systems certification test-writing team. He served on the Board of Directors for several local User Groups, including LISUG (Long Island Systems Users Group) for 30 years, NEUGC (Northeast User Groups Conference) for 15 years, and Chairman of the LUG committee at COMMON for 4 years. He holds his AVONICS degree from the College of Aeronautics and was admitted to the highly competitive and well-respected IBM Systems Research Institute. He also attended Xerox University.

Laurie LeBlanc, Account Executive

Laurie has over 20 years of experience in the IBM i market, first as a Systems Administrator who learned RPG III and later in sales roles for software companies that focus on IBM i. With a unique blend of technical and business skills, Laurie can build trust with technology teams and communicate the business advantages to the C-Level. She focuses on building lasting relationships with her accounts, learning about their business challenges and helping to find ways to solve the issues.

Laurie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Franklin Pierce University. She enjoys spending free time with her husband and grown children. She is the New Hampshire Ambassador for The Spastic Paraplegia Foundation.

Amal MacDonald, Account Executive

Amal MacDonald brings with her years of experience in security software sales and service on the IBM i platform.  Combined with her strong customer service ethic, her general technical grasp and consistent willingness to learn about her clients’ business needs means that she has successfully worked with financial institutions, banks, insurance, manufacturing, lotteries, or even small IBM i shops.  Amal’s integrity and focus on relationship-building have generated a proven record of customer loyalty.

Although Amal has extensive experience with selling security on the on the IBM i, she is always looking to learn more and understands the importance keeping up-to-date with current trends — particularly where security is concerned.  She may not always have the answer to a specific technical question, but with her contacts within the IBM i community and the support of the highly-respected iTech team, her clients don’t have to wait long for an answer.

She earned an MBA from the University of New Orleans and a Master’s degree in Sociology from La Sorbonne University in Paris, France.  She is a native French speaker, and in her free time, enjoys travel, hiking, food, and is passionate about healthy nutrition.

Richard Marcotte, Account Executive

Rick has been an Account Executive with iTech Solutions since 2013, covering Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and numerous accounts throughout the US, Canada, and the Caribbean. Previously serving as the Eastern US Sales Manager for Maxava, Rick brings a significant amount of experience in the areas of disaster recovery and high availability services. Prior to that, he operated his own company as an IBM Business Partner who represented IBM Business Continuity Services in the Northeast.

Rick has a degree from Springfield Technical Community College. When not at work, he is often enjoying time with his son at the baseball fields, running, or practicing judo.

Gary McMonagle, Account Executive

Gary McMonagle has worked on the AS/400 and all its developments since 1988. He was a Regional Sales Manager for the Lynk Corporation selling non-intelligent workstations on the system 36\38\as\400(I-series) from 1986-1992.He started Mid-Atlantic Computers, Inc in 1992-to present as IBM Business Partner who represents IBM Business throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. Gary has been working with iTech Solutions team since 2016, covering the Mid-Atlantic region.

Gary has a BS degree in Finance from Lasalle University. When not at work he enjoys the Beach and playing golf.

Patrick Nip, Account Executive

After graduating from Brown University, Patrick continued to pursue his MS degree at Boston University and an MBA from UMass Amherst.  He started working for IBM in 1984 as a Marketing Representative and later assumed the role of a Systems Engineer.  Trained and worked with the AS/400 before it was announced in 1988 in Rochester, Minnesota, Patrick has been supporting the IBM i system clients for over 30 years throughout the New England area.Other IBM roles include Strategic Workload Specialist, Consulting Product Specialist and Client Systems Manager.

After joining iTech Solutions Group, Patrick continues his customer-centric approach in working with clients across a broad range of industries in the Northeast area.  Certified in IBM Power and IBM Storage systems, Patrick has extensive experience in consultative solution design, financial and TCO analysis for IT solutions. Patrick was a member of the Executive Board of the Hartford Users of Mid-Range Systems (HUMS), and has been guest speakers at HUMS, Mid-Range User Group of Western NY (MUGWNY) and also at the IBM Poughkeepsie Executive Briefing Center.

Robert Nowels, Account Executive

Experienced corporate executive with a demonstrated history of working and developing business in the information technology and services industry. Richie Palma, Tech Solutions Consultant

Richie has spent most of his professional time working with clients running IBM i on IBM Power Systems. With a background and passion for lean manufacturing, his mind is wired to seek the most efficient means toward producing the desired result. Lean principles are as applicable in the data center as they are on the shop floor.  When he was introduced to the IBM i architecture in 2012, he found a technology that lives by lean principles.  IBM i is built for large scale efficiency, not sprawling server farms that require Band-Aids, duct-tape and lots of attention (people).

Richie has been recognized as an IBM Champion for Power (2017-2018), IBM Fresh Face of IBM i (October 2017), Member of the Common S.E.T. (Strategic Education Team), founder of the “Midrange Meetup” in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on the steering committee for YIP’s (Young i Professionals), and on the board for SEMIUG (South East Michigan IBM i User Group).

Steve Pitcher, Account Executive

Steve has been involved with IBM i since 2001 primarily in the manufacturing and distribution industries. Over that period he’s been a systems administrator, developer, IT Manager and IT Director. He joined iTech Solutions in 2017 in a combined sales/technical role, bringing additional expertise in security, IBM Lotus Domino and WebSphere.

A longtime IBM Champion, first as part of the inaugural group for IBM Collaboration Solutions (2011) and then as an IBM Champion for Power Systems (2016-present), you’ll find Steve speaking at events around the world about IBM i administration, modernization and security. He’s been a community advocate on the COMMON Americas Advisory Council since 2012 and is currently serving on the COMMON Board of Directors.

Paul Rogers, Account Executive

Paul has been working on the IBM i mid-range platform for over 40 years in a variety of positions from Technical Support, Data Center Management, Quality Assurance, Software Testing, Product Management, and Power Systems and Storage Sales.

As an account executive for iTech Solutions Group, Paul provides clients with IBM Power Systems, IBM Storage, and IBM i related services. In addition, he is also the past President of his local User Group in NH (www.nhmug.org) and the annual Northeast Users Group Conference (www.neugc.org).

Peg Tuttle, Account Executive

Peg has spent 35+ years in the IBM i community. Since 1987, she has worked with IBM i shops matching them with solutions focused in operations, security, disaster recovery, high availability, change management, and more. 

Peg has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Augsburg College. In her free time, she enjoys running, sailing, working with textiles, and volunteering in her community.
